Ocean Beach & Seashell Delight

I grew up on the tropical beaches of northern Australia. The coconut lined beaches and warm coral sea waters are a re-occuring theme in my artworks. I am constantly trying to capture the essence of experiencing the tropical beach life.

I still love walking the tideline photographing all of the different seashells, driftwood, seeds and other things that the ocean washes up. My children also have this curiosity so it is often on family trips to the local beaches that many of these images originate from.

Sand between your toes and a sense of calmness from just being near the ocean is my idea of a perfect day. Even when there is a storm on the horizon.
